Every Pretty Retro style is designed in England and made by hand in Europe. Our collections take their shapes from the 1940s and 1950s: tea dresses, shirt dresses and hostess dresses, swing dresses and wiggle dresses, wide-leg trousers and capri pants, circle and pencil skirts, and blouses, wrap tops and knits.
What does vintage-inspired mean?
Vintage-inspired, or retro, clothing is new clothing with the look of an earlier era. We borrow the defined waist, the sweetheart neckline and the swinging skirt, and make them in modern fabrics that wash and wear like any other clothes.
